Litigation & Dispute Resolution
Aggressive representation in civil, commercial, and constitutional matters before all courts and tribunals.
Resolving Disputes with Strategic Precision
When a dispute reaches a point where it cannot be resolved through conversation, the quality of your legal representation becomes the most important factor in the outcome. Whether your matter involves a property dispute, a contract that was breached, a shareholder conflict, or a large-scale commercial recovery, the outcome will depend on how well your case is prepared and how effectively it is presented. At HRU Legal, we represent clients before District Courts, the Gujarat High Court, the Supreme Court, the NCLT, Debt Recovery Tribunals, the Securities Appellate Tribunal, and arbitration forums across the country.
What makes our litigation practice different is the discipline we bring to every case. We treat each matter as a structured project, with a defined evidence plan, clear milestones, and regular communication with you at every stage. We also never treat going to court as the only answer. If negotiation, mediation, or arbitration gives you a better result in less time, we will tell you honestly and pursue it with full commitment. When court proceedings are the right course, we enter them fully prepared and stay with the matter until it is resolved.
Evidence-Based Advocacy
We employ a rigorous, evidence-based approach to litigation. Every case is treated as a project, with clear milestones and strategic reassessment points.

01Case Analysis and Research
Before we file anything or recommend any course of action, we go through every document, contract, piece of correspondence, and available evidence connected to your dispute. We reconstruct exactly what happened and in what order, and we do this without any prior assumption about the outcome. We examine your case for weaknesses just as carefully as we examine it for strengths, because knowing where you are vulnerable is as important strategically as knowing where you are strong.
We then confirm all the legal requirements: which law applies to your situation, what your cause of action is, whether you are within the time limit for bringing a claim, and which court or forum has jurisdiction. We research the court decisions that will govern your case and confirm exactly what needs to be established and what evidence supports it.
You receive a Case Assessment Note, a clear and practical document that sets out your legal position, an honest assessment of your prospects, the options available to you, and our recommendation on the most appropriate path forward.
Domain Mastery
Civil Litigation
We provide representation across the full range of civil matters: property disputes, partition suits, mortgage enforcement, contract breaches, and recovery of money. We are experienced in obtaining urgent interlocutory relief such as injunctions and attachment orders, and in managing long-running trials with disciplined and organised evidence management throughout.
Commercial Disputes
We represent clients in shareholder disputes, joint venture breakdowns, high-value contract breaches, and specific performance claims before Commercial Courts and the NCLT. Our focus is always on achieving a commercially useful result efficiently, combining legal expertise with business understanding to maximise recovery while managing cost and time.
Arbitration and Mediation
We provide representation in domestic and international arbitrations, including ICC, LCIA, SIAC, and DIAC proceedings. We advise on arbitration clause drafting, seat and governing law selection, case management, and the enforcement of awards or challenge proceedings before the High Court where required.
High Court and Supreme Court
We maintain an established practice before the Gujarat High Court in constitutional matters, writ petitions under Articles 226 and 32, and appellate proceedings. For Supreme Court matters, we work with leading senior advocates at the Delhi bar and take complete responsibility for briefing, SLP preparation, and coordination of arguments.
Appellate Practice
Appellate work requires identifying precisely where the lower court's reasoning was wrong and presenting that clearly to an appellate bench. We provide representation in first and second appeals, Letters Patent Appeals, and revision petitions, carefully reviewing trial records to identify the errors that provide the strongest grounds for reversal.
